ConnecTV > About > Staff Bios Chris Arnold, ConnecTV Program Director In 1999, Chris became DCTVâs first instructor for TV classes for people with disabilities, MIFD. The second team of MIFD students produced DCTVâs first studio TV shows in what would become the Cyberstudio, and their ãTransportationä episode helped raise the necessary money for to offer ConnecTV, DCTVâs new three-year TV production training program for people with disabilities. About this program Chris has said,ãThese ConnecTV students are some of the most talented students I have had the chance to teach here at DCTV. I am very excited about the kind of television that they are producing in this program.ä DAVID MENESES - Segment Supervising Producer / Instructor Mr. Meneses received his B.A. from University of Florida in 1999. Since March of 2000, Mr. Meneses has been working in production and post-production on various industrial and documentary projects in New York and South Florida. His documentary credits include: A Day's Work, A Day's Pay (Assistant Editor/Graphic Artist), a feature length documentary that follows three welfare recipients in New York City from 1997 to 2000 as they participate in the largest welfare-to-work program in the nation. In 2001, Mr. Meneses began working with as the primary instructor at DCTV's Pro-TV program.
In 2004, Mr. Meneses was awarded a New York Emmy for producing the best societal concern programming segment for IMNY. The series was also awarded with a New York Emmy for Best Youth Series. Mr. Meneses continues to work as a freelance editor, producer, and educator. Most recently he has begun teaching television production and post production to disabled adults in DCTV's ConnecTV program.
